I am vaccinated so I feel I am safe. If you choose to not get vaccinated, then why does that affect me?
Because that's not entirely how vaccines work. For a vaccine to reach full effectiveness, a certain percentage of people have to get the vaccine, otherwise it will always have hosts. And as long as there are hosts, you are still at risk of contracting it even with a vaccine. That vaccine does greatly reduce the severity of it if you do catch it.
We've all but eliminated chicken pox with vaccines because enough children have been vaccinated, along with older people that had chicken pox as a kid.

Don’t worry you can still triple mask and stay in your good boy room at home.
