Yeah for $10 but other than that no. Very disappointed with that game.

No no, the game was over rated.
ETA-But for $10 I'd say it's worth it. It'll keep you entertained for a good frame of time, which is something $10 won't do too often.

Well to each is own. I thought the game was great and so did a lot of other people since it won pretty much every Game of the Year award (beating out Halo 3 and COD 4). It's worth paying full price for so $10 is a great deal. That's pretty much paying a rental price to own the game.

It's a good game, for 10$ get it. It's not really worth replaying and gets sort of boring and repetitive about 3/4 of the way through.

Exactly, it gets boring pretty quick. And I don't understand how a game without multiplayer can win Game of the Year. I smell a conspiracy.

You're right, but to be game of the year you at least have to have multiplayer available. Without it you're missing half the recipe. It'd be like giving the gold medal to a team that only runs the first half of a relay.

I can understand if it needs co-op play.(mass effect 2 would be fricken awesome with co-op.)

No you do not need multiplayer to be game of the year. The fact that they spent so much time on single player is what got them the honers. Bioshocks single player had great storyline, great graphics, good intense sound, and was long.
The new formula is to skimp on your singleplayer and just have multiplayer (halo). But when games take time to develop their singleplayer still as did bioshock they should be rewarded. I know that mp is very important (quake 3 is one of my favorite games of all time and it is only mp) but sometimes you want a good single player experience and nothing more and that is what bioshock delivers. and yes you do need an attention span lasting longer than 10 minutes to get into it.
