I think it’s a combination of both. When Dugas got thrown out at 3rd that was a huge play in the game. The same situation came up for Arkansas and they beat the throw with ease. Their guy made the throw outs didn’t. Had Dugas simply stayed at 2nd would he have scored? Judging by the rest of the game I think not. Sometimes you have to be aggressive and force the other team to make a play and they did. The bullpen is so bad that once Marceaux came out and we were behind you can’t use your only reliever in that situation. Losing Hill was such a significant loss to this team. Not only because he was a solid starter but now they have to make up his innings Even if they somehow made a regional they would have to pull off a miracle to win it.
