If a Honda Pilot made it through just get whatever 4wd vehicle you want with good tires and you will be fine. Tires are 90% of the battle. You don't need full on mud tires, a good all terrain tire will work like the Toyo open country or similar.

Pilot did well, there was a muddy hill that I spun around a good bit and covered the undercarriage. Some tight areas make you go a few feet off the dirt road and those were more sketchy.

What I am a bit concerned about is if I go down there and a big rain hits while I’m out, I might need to stick around for two days to let it dry. Snow is also a variable.
