I've been involved with the LNG build down in Cameron. That facility is smaller than Driftwood, and took 3 years to go from swamp to producing LNG. So Driftwood may take 4-5 years for construction.

Starting construction in April may mean building access roads, perimeter controls, bush hogging, etc. Those actions show progress and keep permits active, but may not be 100 bulldozers moving dirt. Time will tell.

I'm in though. They are hiring for management positions now. I think it gets built.

I'm just curious, why does everyone on this thread think this will facility will get built with adequate commercial contracts?

I'm not taking either side, I'm just curious why there is so much conviction (other than the obvious bias of owning shares..)

"Because they're starting construction" is not an answer, Charif has done far more reckless things.
