I’m not sure anyone who would / does actually believe that in the first place. A couple of unhinged facebook nerds, sure. Reddit, I’m sure some. And there’s politicians pandering nonsense, nothing new.

The only thing that really blows my mind is our dependents on plastics and single use products. The amount of trash we make is pretty wild. Most birds and sea mammals they find dead have significant amounts of plastics in their stomachs.
