Similar, but I’ve finally figured mine’s game out.

Her mom (no pics, was a State beauty pageant runner-up tho in 1959) was a naturally good cook.

My wife (no pics, won my pageant in the ‘80s) is not an intuitive cook but thought she could cook that way (like her Mom did) for decades.

Finally she has realized that she needs to slavishly follow recipes.

When she gets out of her lane, uhhhhhhhggggghhhh....

Fortunately, my palate is forgiving and it’s all good.
