What if the 28 seed has one player worth a shite who is a D1 pitcher and gets thrown against the 5 seed and they beat the 5 seed, only to then get skull drug by the 12 seed.
I want the true best teams advancing, not a lightning in a bottle team.

I understand that but go through and look at the past brackets, that almost never happens. Since the LHSAA has gone to a 1-32 seeding, the better seeded teams have won in the 1st round at a great rate.

you see this a lot in first ncaa tournament games.
OVC or SWAC champs throw their one stud.
wins. the p5 limps into losers bracket.
