Yep! I worked that slide often in 1991 b/c boys could easily handle the boards from the riders and set them on the conveyor. The 12 yr old boys would be like "I can put my own board on there!". But them things were wide, awkward, and a solid 20lbs.
It was also a great ride to meet gals from all over the area in a time before Social Media.

I was Woodlawn Trash and the EA and St Amant girls were so intriguing to me with their accents and skimpy swimsuits.
