Face masks on Coaches?

Can someone explain the mask rules in college baseball. Some players wear them, all coaches wear them..

Get all hot and sweaty, breath and spit on each other on the field or court but wear a mask on the bench or dugout because...science ???????

I am speculating, but I imagine everyone is supposed to wear them except players that are on the field. It’s just not strongly enforced.
I have to ask, what was hard about figuring this out?

It was more of a rhetorical question than anything. He’s a another one. Why is it okay to have full stands, no masks in Mississippi and the direct opposite in Louisiana?

He wants to criticize one version of virtue signaling with his own version of virtue signaling. So much of the mask stuff is dumb at this point but i don’t get the point of whining about it either.
