Mid-2000’s run ain’t coming back. People now have streaming services and VR video games (not to mention a phobia of being near other people).
There are too many actually entertaining options at hand to draw thousands to see bad basketball in person.
And sports entertainment is losing ratings across the board as it is. Even the NFL is losing viewers (not to mention the NBA). Can you imagine paying to endure PSA’s where some roided 20 something girl is "using her platform" to screech about social justice?
The mid-2000’s just aren’t coming back, my friend.
