God love Spleen but his schtick on this stuff is such bullshite

He gets to be the voice of reason on things like this "lighten up Karen" because he's not a nut job. After all, he doesn't wear a pussy hat and yell at white diners about how they're on sacred indigenous ground. But he votes for and supports the nut jobs who do but he can't be criticized for it because he doesn't do it himself.

Hence, he'll tell you to lighten up about Disney wokeness, but quietly supports the people who think Mickey is based on a blackface caricature and should be banned (or similar).

So either he agrees with the nuts and he's just posturing for us, or he's a reasonable emotionally-balanced person who supports an ideology of unhinged lunacy

Both are bad

Meh...Everything isn’t binary the way the internet debate world wants it to be. If we would challenge people on their own expressed views and words and quit trying to lump everyone together to fit the strawman we are all too prepared to knock down, these message board debates might actually have some value.

Meh. I do think wokeness does go too far at times. We're talking about cast members' tattoos and haircuts, and honestly I'm not even sure what that means. Just seems like a silly thing to get upset over, but I'm with you on the insanity of Disney culture. Those people are fricking loons. We've been to Disney a couple of time, and the level of service from staff/cast members there is great. Can't imagine letting their haircut or their tattoo impact my experience, but I also don't give a shite if they're "in character" or not. It has no impact on me enjoying Space Mountain.
