Are in any way similar?

Ooo I know this one

They are similar because both are very clearly and obviously not about murder.

typing YOURE NEXT on twitter about someone involved in a killing will absolutely be taken by many people as a call for death/violence

That really isnt debatable

I'm not sure how you can possibly say that.

Look, I know I went over the top with the thread title. I get it. It was a mistake. A big one.

But Lebron's statement can CLEARLY be interpreted in different ways, and one of those is definitely a threat.

Be intellectually honest for a second. Can you see that?

c'mon OP

Your better than Bron Bron, and posting this is sinking to his level,

You know that, "Next" meant the next police officer to be tried and found guilty. Anyone who claims that it was to be killed is being disingenuous, and promoting fake news

Bron Bron is a dickjaw, but he isn't promoting killing a cop. Maybe after he finds those racist spray painters he will, but he hasn't yet.

I think its fair to say that interpreting this as a call to murder is a stretch but this could absolutely be interpreted as a call to violence towards the officer given the current climate and everything
