By the time this happens, the ones that remain will be washed up, corrupt, burnt-out, or worthless. If any decent cops still remain after what i assume is ahead in the next couple of years, they will walk out at that point.

and the ones recruited to replace the good ones who were purged or quit will be the dregs of society who DO revel in punishing whoever they are sicced on - dragging pregnant women out of a church by her hair is to become a expected as usual occurrence - and anyone who objects can be shot as an insurrectionist.
