It gives off the impression that innocent people at malls, stores, parks, etc are being targeted.
If you do that, then you are allowing the left to run with the narrative that mass shootings are only done by white people. That would be dumb.
I don't care about gangbangers shooting each other in their own ghettos, but to remove their violence from the mass shooting and gun control debate would be foolish.

I hate to pop a big hole in the argument you are trying to make but the media and the left already say that mass shootings are done by white folks. They prefer a white cop to shoot a black person though.
