You know, you are right, nobody is a fortune teller.
I'll tell you a true story : There was a double murder over in the town where I use to live. When I saw the guy's photo, I recognized him, he came to my house once, helping a guy that I had doing a little job that I didn't have time to do myself. You could just tell that something was wrong with him, not just geeky, he was actually a good looking kid, but you could feel the hate coming off of him.

No fortune telling required for the FBI in this case. The kid's own parents called them, worried he was dangerous.
