US cancels Black Sea deployment of two warships: Turkey

The United States has cancelled this week's planned deployment of two warships to the Black Sea, Turkish officials and media said Wednesday, amid high tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
Turkish diplomatic sources said the passage of the first ship through the Bosphorus due on Wednesday did not take place.
Anadolu state news agency said both deployments, scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, have been cancelled with Ankara not yet informed of any possible rescheduling.

Aubie, Ukraine has 44.39 million people that live in their country. I'd imagine that's going to change very soon. There is about to be a huge refugee problem in Europe.

I hate Putin, but he's no dummy. He will move because he obviously senses and smells (CORRECTLY) weak, sniveling, cowardly appeasement with this current President* infecting the White House.

Yeah I think you're correct about this. In fact it sticks out to me that Biden hasn't very publicly warned Russia and Putin against military action in Ukraine. Indicates to me that Biden's worried Russian action is likely, thus he would have to significantly confront Putin/Russia on the ignored warning.....and that's something I'm betting he (Biden) doesn't want to mess with. Hasn't the nerve.
