How many times you think this officer spent time at the shooting range? enough to know whether firing a taser or her service weapon?

You realize this is a separate issue from why she was even in the position of making the mistake, right?

Why is it impossible for people to simply acknowledge that in almost EVERY ONE of these police shooting cases, an officer was confronted with a suspect that resisted arrest in some way? Think of all the high profile cases like this over the past few years, and try and think of one that does not have this same attribute.

And before it gets asked, does resisting alone make it ok to kill a suspect.

No, of course not...depending on what they are doing while resisting obviously.

But once you resist as a suspect, you have now started a potentially life or death struggle with an armed person that has the authority to kill you. That is NEVER a good idea, and most people that have even an ounce of self preservation in themselves knows this and acts accordingly.

Hell...it's not like there are not REAL cases of bad police shoots or brutality to champion, you know. Why continue to back these absolutely horrendous examples?
