It is, and it will be interesting to see what mortality looks like for the next few years if these are pulled forward or not. I wouldn't know where to begin to separate out causes of death from the virus vs response to virus.

Not to be mean, but the virus in many cases killed the oldest and the weakest among us.

I suspect the death rate may be slightly lower.

Now that may be offset by the decreased number of people that underwent screening for cancers, but I suspect a decrease.
