Leaving 6/15 for an 8 day cruise around Bermuda (Viking). Anything we should see or do in Hamilton, St George’s or Kings Wharf if they let us go sightseeing on our own. TIA

Been there a bunch, but always stayed on the island. There aren't a lot of must sees--to me, Bermuda is a place to relax or engage in outdoor sports like golf, diving, snorkeling, tennis, etc. Hamilton has some shopping and places to eat, but it is mostly a busy commercial city. There is an undersea exploration museum there. St. George is the oldest city and is interesting to walk around. Has the oldest Anglican Church in the Western Hemisphere I think. The Royal Naval Dockyards has old fortifications and a big museum.

rent a scooter and cruise the whole island, takes like an hour to get from one end to the other.
crystal caves
cathedral cave (can go swimming inside and was free when i went)
the beaches along the south side of the island (horseshoe bay, etc.)
swizzle inn for a pitcher of swizzle.
Dockyard probably isn't worth going to unless y'all dock out there.
you will be a week or two early for all the sportfishers coming in for the tournaments, but there might be some cool boats to see in the harbor.

just saw that bermuda went into lockdown today for at least 7 days due to a huge spike in cases over the last week or so. need to be keeping track of that.

Thank you, Viking is going to administer the PCR test on arrival and daily if needed.
