President Joe Biden will sign an executive order Friday establishing a commission to study overhauling the Supreme Court, following through on a campaign promise, the White House announced.

The topics that the commission will examine include the length of service and turnover of justices on the court, its membership and size, and its case selection, rules and practices, the White House said in a statement.

When it’s packed, we’re toast. Better man up and get ready, you’re all gonna have a big decision to make about what it’s worth to save the constitutional Republic. .

Any change to the way the Supreme Court operates will have to have 60 votes in the Senate as it is currently configured.

The Supreme Court turned its back on justice already. I don’t see how it matters.

They’ll get it via exorbitant payoffs and/or blackmail. They are on the cusp of the reset and they’re not going to squander it.

The radical left sees nothing but power. They could give a frick about people or feelings.

They want nothing but power and shite all over us.

All this while we are armed. Wait till they disarm us how much shite the cram down our fricking throats.

Depends on what happens with DeSantis/Trump in 2024, that might actually be the "last stand" at least from a governing standpoint.

ETA: What does complete control look like, honestly. I'm there with you. But it'll be interesting to watch hugely dominant republican states, specifically Wyoming.

either removing the filibuster or getting 60 senators. There are still enough Republicans to block them getting 60 votes on their major projects

I’m not sure anything has been made as clear to me as this in the last few months.

Yes and to change the filibuster rules takes 51 votes I believe. There are so many rules and ways to get around them in the senate that is not something to hold out hope for.

That’s something I preach regularly. Nobody’s doing anything until the economy collapses (stay tuned). And then, will it be too late?
