I wasn't in the best frame of mind when I first heard Mary Tyler Moore had died, and shed a couple of tears. It was on the tail end of a two-week business trip and I was missing my family and home when it came on the news in the lonely hotel room.

Got a little misty eyed over Kobe, but it was moreso my own emotion being a Daddy of 2 daughters, and hearing that he and his daughter died together. Tragic

I dont remember ever crying.
I was waiting tables when Dale Earnhardt died, and several tables in the restaurant had families crying.
I remember friends crying after kurt cobain committed suicide.
I remember getting goosebumps when harry carey, larry munson, and don sutton died. Same for vin scully.
Memories run stronger for me when tied to sounds, smells, etc..
I remember getting pissed off when phil hartman was murdered.
