Has anyone been on a very in-depth tour. I mean two weeks, both upper and lower ancient Egypt?
There is a now retired archeologist named Bob Brier who runs some tours that run about 15,000 bucks. He runs tours at other great ancient sites as well. And I believe does Bible tours.
But it’s 14 days and extremely thorough and also he claims to have special access to many of the sites.
Anyway it’s been a lifelong dream and I’m about at a place where I can make it happen. But for something this big I want as much advise as possible.

So they still do the show at the pyramids with the cheesy 80s music like in For Your Eyes Only when Jaws was chasing Bond?

I’ve done it plus a trip to Sharm El-Sheikh on the way to climb Mt. Moses. Can’t say i remember it costing $15k but my trip was back in the early 2000s.
If you can afford it, then do it. It’s definitely a bucket list item.
