There's nothing wrong with the current system. It's worked as long as competitive golf has been played. Pay attention and carefully review your card before signing it.

It's stupid in modern times to know everyone's score but still sit in the corner and wait to catch some guy being careless.
You're either for "the way it has been since golf was played" or you for these guys basically being lorded over by a million eyes who do nothing except bust a mistake, big or small. They don't work very well together.

I wonder who attested to Wolf's score. Did that cheating POS get DQd as well?

Wolfe attested to his own score. Another player in his group kept his score. You might want to know the difference before posting.

what a silly semantics game. Do you know what an attestation is? Like in general, because it isn't just a golf term. You changed nothing.

Their is no problem except the silly practice itself. There is no logic to it or the defense of it except "they did it 300 years ago and it seemed to work fine." Which of course is ridiculous because there was absolutely errors all the time before monitoring started.

Do duval and chamblee purposefully not do segments together? Or did Leonard just steal duvals spot?
