I don’t get this. They fly in some rando sergeant off the LA police force to testify. A sergeant, not a LT, Captain, major? Is it because he’s just black and from another police force it makes him an expert? Why not get a black cop from Detroit? Or is it because he’s the only racist that would testify against another cop? They had to go across the country to find one? Must have cost a bunch to fly in all these witnesses from across the country. This is bs.

He is supposedly a "use of force" expert. He was paid 10 thousand dollars, plus a court fee, and expenses to testify.

In my opinion he was ineffective and did nothing to further the prosecutions case.
