Diesel machines are the most expensive and fuel can go bad, so I would stay away from diesel unless you can keep a large amount on hand and keep freshening it with new deliveries such as a farmer or trucker would do. Also keep spare fuel filters and school yourself on changing them without air locking your system. Diesel will grow a fungus so a good biocide is needed to keep your stored diesel from causing trouble.
