When you say this:
In regards to owning and keeping an aquarium, it could really go either way.
I wouldn't have been surprised if you had gone on and said it was free to the first OT poster to come pick it up.
They are fun, but can be frustrating. Learn as much as you can about them, because it is so much easier to get information now than it was 25 years ago, trust me.

Yes, I have been researching like crazy. Initially I thought I was just going to do a community tank, but then I realized how amazing African cichlids are. They’re super aggressive, but they’re almost more fun to watch than tv. Lol
