I think we all had this opinion about halfway through our enlistment. And I do mean all. Even those who reenlisted, about halfway through every contract were like "you know what? frick this."
Just wait until you have one year left and start seeing light at the end of the tunnel/planning everything else outside. That's when you start to realize how the great times outweigh the bad, and some wind up reenlisting because of it. It's the best and worst time of your life, and right now all you see is the latter. Of course, unless you're a shitbag and then there is just no recourse for you.
Report back when you have 6 months left.

Or the people who decide to stay in the military are those who wouldn't make it in the civilian world, they know they don't have to earn their check they can often times just show up, keep their nose cleaned and they are likely to be promoted.
I'm leaving the military because it was a literal waste of time.
I will pick up a few certs (hopefully) and be finish with my masters (also hopefully) by the end of my ets. I just have a much larger vision outside of the Army. While it was not all bad, there is a time where growth stops. At least for me it did. I feel so much boxed in.
