A doubleheader would work well.

Honestly, I think it would be best to move it to the superdome.

If they moved it to Independence stadium, I could actually go to it. So I'm down.

I really don't think the LSU Athletic Dept. will allow this game to take place anywhere but Tiger Stadium if at all possible.

Probably the open date we share with Troy, but Troy would have to be willing to adjust their schedule, and we would probably have to make some concessions.

Troy does not have a game on Oct 4 or Oct 11. They do however have a game on Tuesday Oct 7 ( ). If they could move that game to the 11th, we could play them on Oct 4th which is open for us.

The only downside for us is we lose an open date before the Fla game. That's better than losing revenue by moving it to some other site.

The only obstacle would be if Troy's Tuesday game is on TV. I assume it is (albeit a minor telecast)....it must be a made for TV event to be on Tuesday.

Fla Atlantic is their opponent and yes, they would have to agree. But they have the same Saturday open. It's really a matter of them pushing their game (vs. Troy) from Tuesday to Saturday.

Having said that, you're still probaly right that it won't happen.

If we can't play in Tiger Stadium, move the game to Troy because we need the practice against the spread offense because AU and FL use it.

Moving the game to an open date defeats the purpose of even playing the game as it does not help us prepare to defeat FL and AU.

Shreveport will be the place. LSU desperately wants to play the game...the coaches know they need to play 3 games before they hit Auburn.
