Not sure how much they weigh but took some 16oz plastic cups and filled them with concrete with an ibolt sticking out the top.
Ive set them in some canals with decent current and caught some pretty big cats over night and have never had them move on me.

That also sounds about $100 cheaper than buying lead at the equivalent weight.

I do the same thing but in the place of eye bolts I get solid copper wire, cut it about 8" long fold it in half. After you fill all your cups with concrete stick it in the cup. I've never pulled a wire out. I did 50 cups with a 40lb of concrete.
