The teachers union opposes it and they are who got him elected so he does whatever they want. Thankfully, the state legislature has GOP supermajorities so they ended up overturning 26 other vetoes in addition to this one.

Nice to see. I wish the KY legislature would show more balls on other things like stripping Beshear's emergency powers for Covid.
