Yes school choice is racist. We must pour even more money into failing schools and force people to attend them. It won’t work OG course, but at least we aren’t racist.

The teachers union opposes it and they are who got him elected so he does whatever they want. Thankfully, the state legislature has GOP supermajorities so they ended up overturning 26 other vetoes in addition to this one.

Dems say it is so you know it is not. There is nothing racist about allowing a parent to decide where to send their child for school and send their federal $$$ with it. That is the biggest issue, it forces schools/teachers to up their game to attract kids and the $$$ that comes with them.
