Forward facing sonar is worst thing to happen to the sport in 100 years. Those of us who.ve spent 1000's of hours on the water learning to read the conditions and get in tuned with what mother nature will giveth for that hour or that day is now completely irrelevant. For those who fish competitively its a must have to even have a chance. I thought this would be more of a deep clear water technology but was proven wrong in many spring events this year. It may mark the end of my competitive days as I refuse to turn my days on the water in to a video game eliminating the skills and gut instincts that have separated the have from the have nots for decades,
