Wife (no pics) dropped a few coins in a video poker machine at a daiquiri shop and hit a royal flush on the first draw.

we had it happen with the guys i played poker with once in hold 'em. he tried to slow play it, but the possibility was there on the flop so everybody bailed.

not in the same vane as others, but i was driving up I35 between San Antonio and Austin. A rig carrying cars that had a car hanging out the back with it's back two wheels in neutral on the road. right as i was passing it, the back axle snapped and the back of the car started skidding. i sped up to get away from it, and one of the wheels that popped off started rolling parallel to me in the shoulder. it rolled in perfect symmetry with me for about a mile and then rolled into the ditch.

this is not necessarily a good answer to the thread and fairly specific, but i have a similar one.

i was teaching a couple of friends how to play euchre, which is a trick taking card game very popular in the midwest. it utilizes bowers, meaning the jacks of the color of trump are the 2 best cards.

so anyway, we are gonna do a practice hand with the cards face up to just kinda run through some situations, how the bidding works, and how you play.

anyway, i dealt him JH, JD, AH, KH, QH and the up-card (that is utilized as trump) was the 10H. it is the best possible hand, immediately worth 4 points (out of 10), ive never seen it happen, and will likely never see it happen again. and it was in a practice hand with guys who had little to no idea of its significance. it was incredible.
