re: Any evidence the Atlanta shooter acted based on race?

Got into a argument with a lib I know who was saying of course the suspect blamed it on sex addiction since the black prison population he’s going to be amongst is going to frick him up because it was a hate crime against Asians. Like, how does that logic follow? It’s like he’s willfully ignoring the black community and Asian community have a history of tension in the US, i.e. Rooftop Koreans.
