The reality is at one time LSU was the king of college baseball. Then it fell to the king of the SEC and now its middle of the pack of the SEC.
Sure there have been seasons that have been better and worse than that trend but this is where we are. And for some of us it just doesn't cut it.

We have two very good front line pitchers and one really good bat, one good bat, one decent bat, one adequate bat and the rest are pretty much below average. We have no chance against these pitchers, none.

This is the case every year under Maneri. What happens against Vandy? Same deal guys. We don't hit them. We are second tier SEC now.
Great fans, eroding tradition, a bunch of hype and not too much real baseball power anymore
