LSU would’ve had the ball at their 40 down 21-15 if PP7’s INT stood. Very winnable. Excuse me while I go throw up.
*theoretically* very winnable.
In reality, we needed Jordan Jefferson to lead us on a GW TD drive on the road against a really good Bama defense. So uh, forgive me if I have some doubts.
It still sucked to not even get a chance when we should have. And in real time I was pissed. But to me, 2012 and 2014 were the worst ones. It probably also had something to do with the psychological effects of the natty game, but those two games were so winnable and should have been won, but we choked them away. Gut wrenching losses to me, whereas the PP7 game was one I feel like we should have had a chance at the end but in no way did I feel the win was in our grasp only to slip away.
