BREAKING: #Texans Add ex #Broncos Pro Bowl RB Lindsay in #NFLFreeAgency
That’s not a bad move for the Texans.

If they like Slater more than Penei, then it wouldn't be a bad thing to add Slater who can plug into multiple positions and offer an instant talent upgrade somewhere up front. Their OL problems last year weren't just on the edges.
This also brings Pitts into play, which could be fun too.
More choices also mean more opportunities for Mike Brown and the Bengals to screw it up. They are in this OL mess for a reason.
They have a poor track record of evaluating OL in the first round, refuse to spend 2nd or 3rd round picks on OL, and have a policy of shopping the bargain bin for interior OL in free agency.
You don’t pass on the opportunity to pair your young franchise QB with a franchise LT for the next decade because Riley Reiff is on the roster, or overvalue Slater because he can play multiple positions.
The only way I trust the Bengals to make the right choice is if a consensus talent like Sewell falls into their lap.

It is when you realize they already signed Mark Ingram and kept DJ Johnson on the roster on his contract
I like Lindsay, but that’s way too many resources at that position for a bad football team.
Weird move by Lindsay, I’d think there was a better opportunity out there, especially if he doesn’t mind a time share

It’ll be ongram and Lindsay. New coach is a Ravens guy. DJ won’t be on the roster week 1.

Jameis didn't even make the graphic?!

Idk about that. They restructured his contract and actually increased his guaranteed money

I don’t know if the Texans have a real plan right now. Besides Lindsey, it looks like all they’re doing is collecting MOR trash and having a free for all for every roster spot.

RB Chris Carson is re-signing with Seattle on a three-year, $24.625 million deal that voids after two years, per source.

the Ravens got a new passing game coordinator. Dunno if that will make a difference but David Culley had that job last year.

Is Lamar’s arm still throwing the ball?
Posted on 3/19/21 at 9:02 pm to KillerNut9
I'll go with yes
but i mean for real a set of new ideas on route concepts and a shakeup at WR couldn't hurt.
Lamar aint the most accurate QB but I think its not as bad as it seems.
he's played 3 years and done more than I "think" what most expected he'd do by now whatever that means
Hollywood Brown isn't a #1 WR.
Willie Snead looked a lot better with the Saints but look at the QB (I know ) but also the offensive play calling.
we'll see.
makes no difference to me unless I'm using Lamar for FFootball purposes.
admittedly I've changed the way I follow the league now

And yet he displaced that same quarterback as their starter, won an mvp, and has career passer rating higher than Russell Wilson who this board stans for at every turn.

Massive addition by subtraction.

i'm not trying to attack Culley or blame the Ravens problems solely on passing game but if they do make moves and with different coaching produce about the same or worse then i'll look at Lamar different.
I found myself trying to pick him apart the year he won the mvp and i knew then just like many other times i was being an idiot.

I know you have ridiculous takes, but sheesh. They aren't even remotely the same team as then. They have several featured rbs and a qb who also runs.

He definitely deserved his MVP.

They are going to be a mess for some time and if Watson gets in any trouble they are totally fricked.
