Tim Scott responds to MSNBC's Joy Reid: 'Woke supremacy is as bad as white supremacy'

Spot on

quote:

Scott said that comments like Reid’s need to be "taken seriously" and urged those opposed to "good common sense" to read an excerpt from the Bible, Matthew 5:44, about loving one's enemies.

"Woke supremacy is as bad as white supremacy. We need to take that seriously," he told host Trey Gowdy, who also criticized Reid's comments, saying "when she calls a United States Senator who's a subject matter expert a prop, a token, or a superficial covering, that's personal and that's wrong and she should be held to account."

We now have some ammo when a leftist calls us a white supremacist.....and U B a woke supremacist

Mine is "woke Olympics".
It's a never-ending di#k measuring contest to see who can come up with the wokest virtue signaling, no matter how nonsensical, ridiculous or absurd.
The best part is they end up eating each other in the end.

does any one thing, race, gender, nationality, creed, or religion (to name a few) actually have supremacy over anything? How is that even possible? I struggle to come to terms with the term, "supremacy".

This is the issue/problem with anything that has no objective standard. It becomes a rudderless ship that endlessly drifts.. there really is no end...

When Democrats do this it’s no different then when they ran physical plantations. They want to continue controlling and enslaving black people. They can’t stand free thinking individuals. They want unity in thought not unity as a nation.

Turn that $hit back on them.

I've already invoked "blacksplaining" and "black fragility" with two of my better black friends. It triggered some of the best conversations we've ever had together.

THIS!

Then explain how limiting someone where they can eat, sleep, Drink water or sit on a bus, based off the color of their skin is Racist! When they agree, then ask, why is it ok for a POC to use the N-word but not a white person....how is that not racist?

I love MLK's famous speech on how we should judge people based on the color of their skin...

Miami Herald Opinions
quote:

In the first place, what even is “woke supremacy?”

After years of making up words and theories and changing dictionary definitions, the left now complains that the right is making up a new terms to counter their made up words. Because racism. And because he's black, he should know better.

I haven't study Tim Scott much but a while ago I did watch a series of his Senate Floor speeches where he described being profiled and singled out for his race. He is a reasonable man who recognizes biases and racism exist. But he also recognizes that the woke movement has overly militant and "holier than thou" voices.
