Is anyone interested? I would hate to play alone, but I don’t know anyone that plays.

Brother, playing golf alone is one of the greatest things in this world. Quit being afraid to be by yourself.

Try booking into a group using golfnow

I like playing alone when it’s not busy but on a Saturday they will pair you with someone more than likely.

Especially on a course that is spread out where you can play a whole round and not see another player. I love playing during the week on a good course.

I agree, but in the bigger areas the courses are packed these days. Either you have your boys to play with or you take a crap shoot and get paired up. There’s a 50/50 chance you’ll get paired up with a cool group or with some 15+ handicap that thinks he’s on the Tour.

What’s with this recent resurgence in golf? Wasn’t that long ago when it was doom and gloom, courses were closing all over the country and participation was at an all time low.

Covid, dumbass. This can't be a serious question.
And busy courses have always been busy, they weren't the ones closing

No need for the ad hominem attack, regardless if this is an anonymous message board.
This was well before Covid. The recent resurgence is due to Covid, but I’m referring to the last 3-5 years, where there has been a noticeable uptick in rounds played.

Even though I resemble that remark I can still be a cool guy to play with

I really think it's millennials growing up and instead of brunching with babes in the city they're married and getting out of the house for a day.
