I don’t think anyone expected to win w/o Zion, but

It’s pretty ridiculous how paltry the offense is without a 2nd year player. Defensive effort also continues to be an issue.
Is it coaching? Is it players? Is it organization culture?
Probably all three.

It's the best player on our team and best shooter on our team being hurt.

This gotta be the dumbest team we have had in a while. And that's saying something. Like basketball dumb like they have no idea what they are doing.

Defense was good tonight baw.

We definitely need a major overhaul before the trade deadline. Everyone not named Zion or BI should be on the block

The defense tried to match Miami’s intensity but they just don’t have the IQ. Miami doesn’t light up the score board. They dictated pace all night. Still waiting for Bledsoe to pretend like he cares and BI to realize his arms are 6 feet long and could disrupt passing lanes with minimal effort.

We generally give up an average of 116.3 points a game. 103 points tonight and that's below Miami's average and that is about as good as it gets for this team.

Yeah I’m not melting over this one.
6 games in 9 nights, second of a back to back without your best player against the defending EC champs.
Lonzo was disappointing, Bled I just accept that he spends most of the game fantasizing about playing for the other team, but beyond that I think most of the guys played with good effort, especially the young guys.
For all the people shitting on what Griff said in that interview, he kind of proved himself to an extent because the young guys looked hungry as shite when they got their oppurtunities...my biggest gripe is that they earned the right to finish the game because of it.

You seen how every Miami player was all over his guy as soon as a Pelicans player got the ball? They were like swarming bees. Pels could never.

hayes getting the rebound with time expiring and instead of taking a shot from 6 feet pauses for an instant and then passes to open man at top of key as time expires.
clueless.

Its mind boggling to watch really.

The thing that frustrates me with Hayes is that I can step back a bit and see him putting the bricks into place to build the foundation of being a good NBA player.
Problem is, I step back even further and can see he is placing those bricks in place so slowly that he’s almost certainly not gonna be on this team when that foundation is done.

Watch the other teams fear when Zion is in. they give him space because of that. Coaches bring the double quick. Refs will adjust down the line to not get cut from there crew. Everyone compares him to shaq but he is driving unhindered and can't be stopped. Shaq did not drive ever. he posted. Zions a new toy with new rules. The players will flock to play with him.
