These cases are very complicated for any athletic dept to handle
You have to protect rights of both parties
Most of the times the victims don’t pursue or want to be kept confidential which is impossible to do
The players have rights too and sometimes getting all the facts from all parties is not easy
Was every case handled perfect from A to Z probably not
But in most of these cases LSU took action
All it takes is one case to be handled incorrectly
These LSU athletic employees are not lawyers and to expect them to know all the legal issues that arise out of cases is next to impossible

The fact that Title IX has been manipulated (something that was pushed heavily under the Obama administration) to force universities and bureaucratic employees thereof to investigate what are (in most cases) alleged CRIMES in some sort of mickey mouse process that doesn't provide much in terms of due process to the accused (which is the antithesis of our criminal justice system) is absurd.

As the father of two daughters I ABSOLUTELY sympathize with any young women who were victims of violence and/or sexual assaults. But those are CRIMES that need to be reported to the police to allow our criminal justice system to investigate and handle. Not solely to some underpaid public employee to engage in some sham-quasi criminal process.
