I have LG. Both work awesome. My wife does at least 2 loads a day. Front load has little magnet that props door open so it doesn't stink at all. Avoid top load GE like the plague.

I'm sure LG is fine too but I heard of it breaks there isn't a huge stockpile of parts somewhere like other brands. Could take a few weeks to fix. This might not still be the case.
