I’ve got a 2005 Chevy Silverado with 215,000 miles on it. The only reason I’m considering trading it is because I often drive late at night and don’t want to have problems. I don’t want to replace it though because I will never get another one that dependable again.

Genuinely curious: Why do you not think you'll ever again have that dependable of a vehicle?

I have a 2006 Chevy 2500 that has 199,000 on it. It still runs like a champ and hopefully get another 10 years out of it. Much cheaper to replace parts than having a truck note.
