Compared to 100 years ago, just about everything is automated. Lots more things are automated now than 25 years ago.
People keep talking about "when everything is automated" when that shite has been creeping for a century.
Tractors and cotton gins automated farming, costing millions of jobs.
I'm all for automation, but it's here and has been here for a long time. This is not futuristic.
