Oh, it being true means they are justified to ask for an apology. And the restaurant owed them one.

I just think this is going to open the door for others with less character to abuse this. People are going to try to make a point now as a punitive measure.

They won’t see it as, “a mistake was made, it was rectified, they apologized, all is well.”

They’ll see it as carte Blanc to do as they wish. They know they have the restaurant on their knees and they won’t dare do anything about it.
