It seems like he clearly needs help and doesn’t have all his shite together. I might get downvoted into oblivion but what a strong message it would extend to both the current roster and future recruits if Ed O went after him again and tried to help get him back in the fold. Would really hammer home the fact that coach loves his guys, even if they decide to leave or lose their way for awhile.

Maybe that’s too forgiving. I obviously don’t know anything behind the scenes and this might be an awful idea but all things being equal it might make a lot of sense.

That would be a mistake. Even if you want him back, you let him come to you with some humility.

The only way the situation works is if O shows that he is the alpha male in the situation, and you can't do that if you're asking him to come back.

Man I don’t know how you do that to the other kids on roster at this point. It’s time to move on. Much like Zach Evans last year- the talent isn’t worth the mental gymnastics to keep this kid happy.

I hope someone sits Arik down and he gets his priorities straight. Honestly a trip to juco to humble him is the best thing for him imo

You can have all the talent in the world but with no work ethic you’ll never be successful. Regardless of what you want to do for a living
