That’s a talking point the chamber of commerce and the cheap foreign labor lobby has abused for decades and our small towns, working poor and middle class are worse off now than they were when that whole nonsense started.
You give them an inch and they’ll take a country mile.
No more. The amnesty and Cheap foreign labor lobby can frick right off.

It's not a talking point. It's reality in SD. Outside of spikes (like COVID), SD's unemployment rate resides below the natural rate of unemployment. Without recruiting workers to the state, its economy wouldn't grow like it should.
