To be honest with you, I don’t know a whole lot about the industry, so I appreciate the insight.
We bought the land initially to build our forever home on and create a sort of hybrid homestead. We found a better opportunity that didn’t require us to start from scratch, so now we just watch the trees grow and camp up there.

That is an awesome plan. Just watch them grow. Every year you let them do that your investment grows by 10%. If you want to increase your take then you could do a little land clearing that eliminates small trees to maximize the growth potential of your good trees. Anyway, good for you. You made a good investment.
