This is the right move for sure. People can still travel with dogs or cats that are in a kennel that fits under the seat in front of you. It’s $150 charge each way.
People would go get a letter from their doctor saying their dog was emotional support which prohibited the airlines from charging them and prohibited the kennel mandate. It’s rude to sit there with a dog on your lap on a plane. And I’m a dog lover. But many people are not.
